Pegasus burns Although I personaly had little to do with building the bonfire itsself and was occupied with begging money from the crowd as they left, this photo by Ian Andrew shows how magnificent it looked.We are asked a lot about whether we feel bad about burning all this hard work (and believe me it IS hard work) but apart from being sad that its over I think we would all say "no". The bonfire is a bonfir, built to be burned. On the way to the burning it may also be a stage and an actor and a sculpture but, at the end of it all....up she goes! |
