Sam has recently returned home to Aotearoa with his wife and two daughters and now lives in Auckland.
He left New Zealand in 1985 and spent almost two decades in the UK. He trained in London in traditional large format photography and developed strong foundations in classical composition, lighting and photographic techniques in advertising photography. He now considers the digital format to be the perfect tool with which to accomplish his style of photography.
