your valued Deep Cheque replica (DCR) is as safe as it gets, as long as you look after it.
to the point that you can get an exact replacement if it gets damaged, you would have to return your DCR to get an identical one - during the lifetime of the Issuer, at a nominal cost (less than 40 USD or EUR).
