if your database is specific to your site you can access it via your cPanel > Databases > phpMyAdmin

your data kept in the joint NetCells database are accessible via your User Zone (NUZ). those data can be exported to another database if need be. also, a database specific to your own site (Wordpress, for example) can be made accessible from NUZ - there can be many advantages to that.
