Many web designers, to save time, use ready-made freely available programs to sell their services, the usual arguments in favour being that you get a lot of functionality, it saves the client's money, many people use those programs etc

We would never encourage our Users to use those programs for a number of reasons:
# those programs are big target for spammers and hackers and therefore a constant security headache, you are likely to be constantly bothered by people pretending to make comments or applying to join
# those programs give you plenty of functions you don't need but never all the functions that you do need
# your site will look like a copy of millions of other sites based on the same system
# those programs change and evolve in a manner you cannot foresee or influence - you will be locked in endless cycle of upgrades

There is a fundamental difference between having a website running on a free software you know nothing about and a custom-made solution, supported by a network of professionals you can contact at any time.

Netcells gives you all the functionality you need to start and develop a web site without any of the problems mentioned above -if and when you need a new function we will write it especially for you and add it to the existing interface. Your site's look can be anything you like - designed by any designer with basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
