A Tate Britain and British Council collaboration. The project has been running for two years, and continuing, involving British and Syrian young people, who have used art as a means of communication. This culminated in an exhibition at the Tate in March 2006. I made a documenary of the 2006 project and
State of Play
An interactive DVD with 7 short pieces shown at the 'State of Play' conference at the Roundhouse, promoting and celebrating music education today. The pieces included 4 documentaries about young people involved in the music industry and two short films made with young people.
Young Votes Count!
A DVD made for Camden Council on why young people are failing to register and vote. The DVD is part of an educational package used in schools for the 'Citizenship' part of the curriculum. This documentary focuses on finding out why this is happening through workshops, questionnaires and interviews.
I have just created a documenttary about the first two phases of the project 'Visual Dialogues' managed by Tate Britain. Visual Dialogues is a partnership programme, which engages young people across the country, working with Birmingham Museum & Art gallery, Manchester Art Gallery, Sheffield Galleries & Mus
