Why are your figures robotic ?
The figures are robotic because they represent Functions, Processes, rather than real people.
They are also robotic because contemporary humans are increasingly robotised, consumed by and enclosed in their economic and social roles, subject to arbitrary Game rules, driven by technology, rather than driving the technology. Did not Marshall McLuhan say that "people are the sexual organs of the machines" ?
