Music
My work is divided into two main areas, music for dance and music for the concert hall. Examples of my music for concert hall can be found at my myspace site given above. I don't have a website featuring any of my music for dance but I can send a DVD of some selected pieces. I am also interested in other collaborative type projects (I have worked for fine artists before).
I work both in the electronic music field and with live performers (with whom I work both from score and using Set-task-improvisation). I am continuing in my research into Set-task-improvisation as a method of creating live music that can adapt to different environments and players and yet remain structurally and harmonically driven. I am a classically trained composer, but I am very open to ideas from all areas of music. I regularly perform Noise music, free-improvisation, classical and contemporary classical music. I am currently based in London, Uk, but have had work performed throughout Europe. |
