is that letter or email from NetCells?

no? beware! most of those letters are spam, con, or just hassling for web development work. if your domain name is with us, only invoices from NetCells are valid. you might, however, receive an automated warning that domain name is expiring or message asking you to update domain Owner information. those legitimate messages would come from CSL (Joker.com), Tucows, or Nominet - those are ICANN-accredited registrars that keep records of your domain names - contact us if in doubt. no need to worry about renewing domain which have a web site hosted on NetCells - those domains are renewed and added to your yearly hosting bill. under ICANN rules you must ensure your Domain Owner information is correct at all times or could lose the domain if that's not the case. note, the Owner information is publicly available via WHOIS service - if that is not to your liking let us know. you update your Owner and other domain name information in NUZ > Account > Domains if a domain is valuable to you set it to AutoRenew. NUZ (Netcells User Zone) is on: ›netcells.net/nuz. |
