Ha, ha, what an amusing and naive proposition this is...

Computer programs are complex systems.
It is difficult, time consuming and, in practice, often impossible to anticipate every eventuality where errors may occur.
And so, errors will inevitably appear as the software is written and re-written, expanded and updated.
Also, a minor error may have to wait its turn to be dealt with, as we do not have unlimited resources.
But - you do not abandon your car, just because its screen wiper got broken, do you ?
