in your cPanel go to FTP Accounts to set up FTP accounts, each with a different username, password and a specified disk quota. when you set up an account you will get your manual setting.

you also get 3 optional configuration panels: - FileZilla (for Windows) - CoreFTP (for Windows) - Cyberduck (for Mac) download the relevant file if you use those programs. here are the instructions for Cyberduck: 1 If you haven’t installed Cyberduck, you can download it here. If you have Cyberduck, skip to step 2. 2 Download the FTP configuration or SFTP configuration and save it onto your desktop. 3 Double-click on the download file. 4 Cyberduck will open the download file and log you into your FTP account. FTP Session Control This is what you use to see who is currently connected to your site via FTP and terminate any connection, if you so choose. note: you can not use FTP connection to access your web space via SFTP, you need to create a special password, explained here: https://documentation.cpanel.net/display/CKB/How+to+Configure+Your+SFTP+Client |
