https://server.netcells.net:2096 you can also access all your mail boxes via the cPanel. ou have 3 programs on in your Control Panel (cPanel) that allow you to read and send your email from any computer connected to the Internet. Even though those programs are not perfect (what email program is ?) being able to access from any location, read, write and indefinitely store all your email off site, on the server is of significant advantage. Using the server-based mail is more reliable in the long run - if your email is important to you keep copies on the server, even if you are using a local email program (set it to "Leave a copy on the server" or such like). Like all software, webmail programs have quirks, below we list some of them: * do not try to log in repeatedly if you forgot your password - your IP will be BLOCKED by server's firewall - instead, log in to the cPanel main and re-set it. * no need to re-log, when your session expired or when you see malfunction - truncate the browser address to: https://server.netcells.net:2096/cpsess925702105374 (the last segment is your individual session token) always use secure connection when connecting to your email. * those programs are interchangeable - you will find all your Incoming and Sent email in either of them * delete unwanted mail to save space - this is not done until you Empty (Purge) the Trash * to speed up composing your email you can write and save it in a local program (WordPad, SimpleText), then copy to send * RoundCube automatically saves the text you type to Drafts, at regular intervals, or you can do this manually by clicking the arrow+folder icon - therefore, if you accidently lose your text look in the Drafts folder to retrieve it. * RoundCube - new New Contact in Address book comes up with an error if there is a space in the email address field * RoundCube - to get the Headers info click the tiny down-pointing arrows under the email's Date * RoundCube - when searching mail do not click the browser's back button (this will lose the results) but the name of the folder searched * Horde - the searchbox will not appear until you select your search range * if you use devices to use email set the connection to IMAP, POP connection will create folders on the server - you need to import those folders into your webmail in order to delete what's not needed - see ›FAQ85 If you are experiencing a persistent malfunction not listed above let us know and we will fix it for you. No email was ever lost on our server. If you have any tips of your own send them via the ›Help page. |
