Your site's mail server stores copies of all the messages for a period of time, which can be individually set for each account with "Aging" ( cPanel>Mail>Manage/Add/RemoveAccounts ), unless your local mail program is set to delete them after downloading. You need to log to your cPanel and check your accounts with one of the web mail programs provided (Neo, Horde or Squirrel). If your email was forwarded to an account on a different server, you have to look there for lost mail. The above, of course, applies only to email addresses based on your domain name, such as me@mysite.com ( NOT such as me@mylocalcom.net ) As always, the instructions for logging in to your cPanel are on: www.namecell.net/hosting/ (type your site's address into the box). |
