Use Virus Scanner on regular basis to keep your webspace clean and your local device free from infection.
You will find it in the Advanced section of your cPanel. once open use "Scan Entire Home Directory" option, a scan can take several hours if you have much data.
When malware is found you have the choice for each suspicious file to: Destroy, Quarantine, Disinfect or leave the file where it is.
Quarantine will isolate the file in a special folder, Disinfect will try to remove the malware.
Most threats are obvious and easily verified in web search, but if you are not sure from the file description you can keep it (in Quarantine folder).

Do NOT download any files to your local computer before you have run the scanner and killed all malware - you have been warned!
