Whatever might be your reasons for moving your web site away from our secure private server, you have 3 options for doing so:

1. Your Domain Name remains with Netcells, your site is running on another server but you use our secure server for email. We can do this by changing the A record on your Domain name. Implementation takes from several minutes to several hours. The cost with Netcells is the Name Regular package, paid each year. 2. Your Domain Name remains registered with Netcells but it points it to a different Internet location. You need to provide the addresses of the new Nameservers, which will be something like ns1.nameservername.com, ns2.nameservername.com. You web site and your email will be handled by your new provider. Change of nameservers will generally show up in a few minutes, although it might take a day or so to get fully implemented across the world. It takes about the same time to move your site back to Netcells, if your move does not work out. The cost with Netcells is the Name Basic, this is the standard fee for the Domain renewal, around $14 a year, you can pay that ahead, for a maximum period of 10 years, or 2-3 years, if you prefer. 3. Your Domain Name is transfered to a different registrar. This is a more complicated and, in most cases, one-way process, which takes several days or several weeks. You would have to find a new registrar and then ask them to make a transfer request on your behalf. Procedures vary with the name type but generally will involve issuing Authorization codes, replying to automated emails and confirming transfer online. This can only be initiated by the legal Owner of the name and the owner's Email address on file must be valid. Once you have transferred your Domain away you will have no further business with Netcells, go to your new provider with any issues. You save no money by transferring your name to a different provider, who often buys names from the same wholeseller as us, but you are likely to give yourself a big headache in the process.
