But - do not just add Links to your browser's favourites - this only works (for a while) on one browser, one computer and for one person. Put your links in your own online database(NUZ) - in this way you can: # access them from any computer, now and later # publish and unpublish them on multiple sites - Netcells, your blog, your site(s) # add comments, descriptions categories and other searchable data # share and let share on social networks or elsewhere - this benefits you (as the person posting it), the person/site in the link and the Netcells network ADDING LINKS TO YOUR DATABASE To add and edit Links in Netcells User Zone (NUZ) go to PUBLISH>Links 1. type or copy and paste the Link - the address (URL) as it appears in the browser window 2. give a name to the Link - name of the site or person, brand/company/organization name 3. write a brief description of the Link - what's the content of the site, do not describe it as "site" 4. choose where the Link will appear (Netcells+MySite(s), Netcells only, MySite only, Off) 5. (optional) add Categories oto the Link (you set Categories in Organize > Categories) All Links added show on ›netcells.net/links and your own site(s), as you decide and it is connected to this function. Users Links also get shown on the Netcells front page but they can be switched off there by Admin. Links get alphabetically sorted, by Name, Date, Category or any other criterium, if your site is so configured. It is a good idea to ask for a return link, when adding a link to someone's site. COPYING LINK SOURCE CODE In the list of all your Links on PUBLISH>Links you will see GetLinkCode - click that - copy the code and you can add your Link anywhere you like ! Always check your Link is working once added. |
