Password-protected directories are included in our Standard site hosting and above. And, you can set a number of authorized Users for each folder. This is very useful if you have many clients and they have their own clients.

The folders are easy to set up on your site's Control Panel (cPanel) - go to Password Protect Directories, you have a helpful video tutorial there:
1. choose existing or set up a new folder on your site (for example: www.mysite.com/client1/ - use an FTP connection or use the cPanel's File Manager feature
2. in Password Protect Directories find the name of the folder, set the Access privileges and the Users.

Note that if you use programming frameworks which reroute the browser requests this might interfere with the secure folder feature.
