The possible causes of such a situation are many.

1. First of all you need to determine whether the problem is with your site or with your connectivity. In order to connect to any site, you must, of course, connect to the Internet first. This facility is provided by your local Internet Service Provider (ISP) - typically your local telecom company. If you are not connecting to any web site you need to contact your ISP about this. If your local Internet connection is down, to check that your site is running you can telephone someone in a different location (this person could even check your email from the server - if you trust them with your login details). 2. If you are connecting to other sites, your own site's address is showing in the browser but your site is coming up as a blank page or showing some other malfunction, the problem is with the site's programming code - this sometimes happens, especially with sites built on Flash technology - you need to go the people who have made your site, hopefully that is not us ! 3. If you are connecting to other sites, your own site's address is showing in the browser but you get a message "site not found" or simlar, check that Netcells.net site is reachable - if it is not we are all in trouble! Such events are extremely rare and they are ALL listed on ›www.netcells.net/system 4. If you are connecting to other sites, your own site's address is showing in the browser but you get a message "site suspended" there could be various reason for this, a long outstanding payment being the most common one. 5. If you cannot connect to your site while people on a different connection (mobile phone, for example) can your IP address is probably blocked due to undesired activity - more information about this in ›FAQ89 Having identified your problem as possibly due to Netcells, contact us via the ›Help page and we will deal with it straight away. Note that if you have no Internet connection to do this the problem is not due to us, as explained above. |
