Is Versioned Edition (VE), in fact, Limited ?
Each ›Versioned Edition is a continuous record of its creative process, with each Instance (print) being different to the previous.
however, most things and processes in the known universe have a lifespan - same applies to the artist working on the image, one day he will be no more, on that day all his Versioned Editions will become Limited Versioned Editions :-(
